[/quote] Lots of military purchase homes--and they DO pay real estate tax. And, if they pay rent, the landlord is paying real estate tax. They also pay sales tax, meal tax, etc. They purchase items at local businesses. Believe me, they bring more to Fairfax County than they take out. The ones that live on post do not live in luxury. And, most of them spend plenty of money in Fairfax County. And, most military in the area live off post.[/quote]
