+1.  I also was cheated on while pregnant with #2.  My DH tried to make "amends," but in reality he gave me a complicated, extensive cover story about a kind of cheating that he thought would be more palatable to me.  He did not end up getting custody in court only because I had gathered extensive evidence of his cheating.  I essentially exchanged my silence in public and with our mutual friends for full custody of the kids.

It definitely is extremely traumatizing. I have a kind of complex PTSD from it, which has taken more than a decade to settle down.  Even now I can be triggered.  And, it definitely messed me up sexually.  It's hard to have good sex without a feeling of safety.  And being cheated on really takes away a sense of sexual safety with anyone.

As a man I sympathize with you. Cheating on a pregnant wife or gf in my opinion is the worst kind of cheating you can do, because that's when they need you emotionally the most. I hope you find a guy who will make fall in love again. You deserve one.[/quote]
