Backing into a parking lot makes it easier to leave the spot safely. Lots of people ignore cars trying to back out of spots, making it dangerous for both backing vehicle and the idiots who walk past a backing-out vehicle. I had a woman WITH A BABY in her arms get offended when I didn't notice her immediately. Blame narcissists like her, not the drivers who want to minimize potential problems.[/quote]
