How do “we all know” that? Is it in the data? I thought black people could be good at crew and lacrosse and I would definitely expect the average track team or basketball team to include a lot of black people too.[/quote]

No.  Just no.  The recruited athletes are extremely white.  Overwhelmingly white.

To add to this, basketball is probably the most diverse and has a small roster size. The other sports like lacrosse, hockey, and crew (they have both heavyweight and lightweight) get more slots. [/quote]
