This is a forum related to swimming and diving. I imagine you're the only poster who is able to just avoid pools. Maybe this forum should also be avoided by you b/c it is dedicated to people who are frequently at pools. [/quote]

Literally no one posts on this board about things like private swimming pools, the Water Mine, oceans, etc. The posts are all about swim teams (costs, gossip about, what costs include, volunteering requirements, NVSL, etc.), technique, meets, coaches, etc. Why would anyone who finds public swimming like swimming in sewage be here? It's like being on an NYC board and saying you think being in NYC is like walking in poo. [/quote]

Sure, but what does that have to do with anything? We aren't talking about whether we find public pools kind of gross...we are talking about whether posters on this particular board are able to say they find them gross AND they will be avoiding public pools. In light of your kid being on a swim team, are you able to avoid pools?[/quote]
