If you think this way, that is why your kid will not make it.

If you want your kid to have a shot, the games don’t matter for kids before age 16.  Learn and develop from every game and situation.

If you are still in this tournament at age 16, you just should not worry about the scores and comparing because your kid is not good enough to be having these types of evaluations.

If you dont care about the score of games until you are 16, then clearly the purpose of playing is to reach the highest level and do everything right to get there.  If that's your goal, then that's fine nothing wrong with it, just dont force it on everyone else.  But most players don't have that goal and just want to compete.[/quote]

Most people not having a goal, ambitions or drive to be their best is a reason the most work for the few and success is for a small percentage of society
