Definitely a real college experience with Greek life, dating, gojng into town for fast food etc. it’s a pain to get to. But he did well and has a good career now. I’d note that he had a lot of friends that struggled and a few that dropped out. The school provides good support but the flip side of accepting lots of kids with mixed academic records is that some of them are just not that into college or are not sufficiently mature for it.
