Really the point of the post was not if your particular older teen uses or doesn't use Tik Tok regularly, but rather commenting about the parents from the other thread on Snap about 'banning' social media for their older teens. I would hope you wouldn't know what social media your son is using or not using by his age. On that snap thread, even people who would allow *some" snapchat for their *older* teens seemed to say BUT NOT TIK TOK, NEVER TIK TOK, OMG NOT TIK TOK!!! This is just ridiculous, and in most cases, their kids are likely using it. Young adults should know how to navigate social media, and should not be 'banned' by their parents from engaging with the world in the communication channels that are used today. And of course its the height of irony that the parents are on here themselves... [/quote]
