I've done this with a fellow sports mom who recently moved to my block. It's usually the dad who's on the sidelines and we end up talking a fair bit. I like the mom but don't see her as much, so when I do it's like "Jim told me about your trip," or "do you have plans for next month when Jim will be in Japan for business?" She invites me over occasionally for coffee but appears very introverted and doesn't ask many questions so I'm fishing through my memory bank to think of something to talk about and it's usually via Jim.[/quote]
