Right. So the fact that Republicans won the White House, House, Senate and more governorships is clearly an indication of a shift to the left. Survey says? NO. It is a clear rejection of the lurch to the left. Open your eyes…. Migration away from Blue states to Red is even more evidence as people are literally voting with their feet and their dollars. Private schools cannot meet the need as people flee disastrous public schools hijacked by unions. I mean honestly what are you even talking about. Good lord you are delusional.
Do you not understand the concept of time? OP is talking about now and elections in the near future. More than half a year has passed since Election Day. Just about half a year has passed since January 20. People rejected the Democrats and they see what the GOP has done with the chance to govern. As usual, it's total shit for everyone not in the 0.1%.
Biden and his open borders and dei stuff and the lies about his mental capacity have done damage on a level you can’t even comprehend. My teenagers openly mock democrats when they don’t think parents are listening. And this is with other kids whose parents are also democrats. It’s amazing.
Amazing that your teens are parroting inflammatory opinions they picked up online? Get back to us when they need to find a job or a place to live or a health insurance policy.
Maybe it’s not from online. Maybe my kids got sent home from school for 1.5 years due to Covid that they ended up getting anyway as did everyone they know. Maybe my kids are the ones who have had to hear endless talk about ged we and identity and are just over all the woke crap. And they know who peddles it. They do!! Maybe my daughter doesn’t like have boys dressed as girls on her soccer team. Maybe all the stupid stuff pushed by the left in lefty Fairfax county is actually backfiring. Maybe you are completely wrong that the culture is turning left when even immigrants support deporting illegals. Maybe the ONLY people who like these policies are rich people unaffected by them. I dunno. Or maybe it’s all from the internet. Maybe that’s it.
Since this definitely never happened, now we know you’re the one parroting inflammatory stuff you see online. Hopefully your kids stand a chance to learn to think critically when they’re young adults.
Right. Got it. You are one of those people who just deny that transgender people are even a thing anyone should worry about. And there you go providing yet another reason the Democrats are losing voters. You think we are stupid and you lie all the time.
You may not be stupid, but you’re sure not smart. You’re definitely afraid of your own shadow.
So we have now entered the part of the debate where you abandon any pretense of discussing issues and just attack your perceived opponent. So predictable. So, are you saying transgender people (mostly biological boys) crossing over to compete as their assuming gender (typically girls teams) and competing in high school and college sports is not a thing? It’s just something Republicans made up? Is that what you are saying? I just want to make sure I understand exactly what you are saying.
DP. I believe it happens. I don’t believe it is such a common occurrence that the PP’s kid had to deal with it in her soccer team. I believe the PP was employing hyperbole to try to make her kids seem like victims.
My kids aren’t victims. They don’t view themselves that way and neither do I. But the decisions made about things that impact them actually do impact them. Whether that’s COVID protocols years ago, or how and what is taught in sex ed, and the use of pronouns, and the affinity group phenomoneon and yes, the ever present possibility that the girls team will suddenly have a boy. We absolutely have dealt with transgender boys (biological girl to trans boy) in some of our extracurriculars but it was not a sport. It’s not a fiction. It’s all real stuff and the young people don’t like all of it and have opinions and those are maturing into political opinions. That is my primary point. For a whole lot of reasons, democrats have lost the whole benefit of the doubt. When I was growing up, democrats were the nice guys. The caring guys. That is not the view of young people anymore. Democrats are now viewed as the judgy ones, the ones who tell kids how to feel and what to think. Kids know that if they disagree with democrats they will be punished. They have seen it in school and in social situations. Democrats are not seen as fun or interesting at all anymore. My children absolutely associate racism with democrats and that is a huge shock to me but it is 100% true. Particularly anti-Semitism. Half my family is life long democrat and the rest is independent and all of our friends have mostly voted blue. But go ahead and ignore me.
So there wasn’t actually a trans girl on the soccer team. As I suspected.
