I went to Walmart to see if I could get cheaper bed sheets. Like, simple cotton. There were no cotton options! They sell something like "cotton blend" and it's 97% polyester. Every single option was completely or mostly polyester. So of course I bought cotton sheets from Amazon. But it's really tough right now - it's like a form of inflation, that they've slowly replaced every natural material with polyester/oil by-products, and you have to really search, seek out, and pay more if you want plain old cotton or natural fibers.
