OP here. Sorry, I should have been clearer- which of these breakfasts would be better for weight loss? I alternate between them (eggs when I have time, oatmeal when I don’t). But if oatmeal would help me lose these last 5-10lbs, I’d switch to that every day. And if eggs are the better choice, I’ll try to wake earlier.
No one can answer this without knowing what else you eat in a day, what your age/size is, what your activity level is, etc. You could lose weight eating a McDonald's breakfast every day.
OP here. I’m 5’0”, 120 lbs, 40 years old. I was 105 before kids. This spring, I dropped from 125 to 115 unintentionally because weaning my youngest child caused me to lose my appetite. After my hormones went back to normal, I went back up to 120. I strength train a few days a week. In the past month, I’ve started to jog 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Before that, I was walking an hour a day. My lunch and dinner are salad 50% of the time but the other 50% varies, so that’s why I asked about breakfast. It’s the easiest thing to change on a routine basis. Thanks for all the ideas! I used to cook eggs with spinach and can easily add that back in- not sure why I stopped! And beans are a great suggestion too.
