[/quote] Yeah, that person PP doesn't understand the terminology. A 100 year flood has a 1% chance of occurring in any given year. It can happen again next year. In my area of engineering we regularly design now for 200 year floods, in conjunction with regular loads, in addition to considering 500 year floods. So a 100 year flood is not some kind of anomaly.[/quote]
