OMG, you people are such bad faith dimwits. Who ties your shoes for you?   Nobody said the letter literally comes out and asks Canada to control the weather. The title of the thread is an ironic joke highlighting the impossibility of this demand, as in “they’re asking for the moon”.  When they demand that Canada stop its forest fires, the only way Canada can do that is by altering the weather conditions, because they are the actual root cause.  The letter writers leave that out because they don’t understand, or care, enough to do any real research.[/quote]

The letter is dumb, but asking Canada to better manage its forests is not asking it to change the weather. Forest management is a science and Canada is not practicing it well, if at all.

It’s more the hypocrisy.   We have a president that the world laughs at the reason being he’s a complete moron.  He wants to eliminate FEMA until he sees what happens without them.  He wants to eliminate weather services until people died from extreme weather.

Neither country get an A in forest management but Canada was there when LA area was burning with their unique equipment.  Some US firefighters are in Canada. There is no excuse to send Canada an insulting letter.   They already know.  [/quote]
