Accepting gay people has become mainstream, thankfully, but the political messaging of the rainbow flag and the parades is pretty far to the left. All of the gay people who I know would not go near the parades. [/quote] I doubt that your average family celebrates Pride Month. It’s not as mainstream as Christmas (religious or secular observance) for example. Some families may attend Pride festivities if they happen to be nearby but that’s probably it. [/quote]
