I am 5’ 3’’ and 100 lbs. I like… -Ann Taylor petite -Gap or Old Navy petite or size 0 or 00 -Cropped jeans (fit like regular jeans) Beyond that, just a lot of trial and error. Sometimes extra small actually does fit, or extra extra small or double zero is available. I don’t really like children’s sizes because the proportions are off, and a lot of times the styling looks like it’s meant for a five-year-old. The only child size things I get (sometimes) are things like jackets/coats or socks and some shoes.
+1 I'm barely 5'. I have bought children's ski pants; they were so much cheaper, and they actually fit my legs. I buy children's socks. I'm a size 6 women's shoes so I don't have to buy youth shoes, but my sister wears a size 4 shoes, and she has a really hard time with shoes. I also buy a lot of youth sizes for my tops. I'm in my mid 50s so my waist is too big for the junior s size, and too small for their plus sizes. I'm also Asian. DD is tall and skinny, and she can fit into Asian clothing size. Much harder for me. A lot of their clothes are one size fits all LOL. They just expect you to hem it.
