The only people who care about sock length are the people who care about style. That is not remotely synonymous with "high anxiety" or "live most of their life online" or "consider what other people think in every small decision." In fact it is opposite of at least two of those things. (And fwiw you are definitely giving both "high anxiety" and "lives most of life online" with your nasty comment.)
