Yes, actually. I was that kid, waiting excitedly for exactly these results. And I learned I don’t get exactly what I want exactly when I want it. And my parents counseled patience and then went about their day as if it wasn’t the most important thing in the world that I know RIGHT NOW. Because it wasn’t. And it isn’t. Your kid will survive and so will you. Patience. Isn’t it all about the journey and building character, blah blah blah?
