The evaluation process for an IEP is a few months from start to finish. Neither an IEP or 504 can address somewhat isn’t actually happening now. They aren’t meant to prevent something that may or may not occur in the future.[/quote]

Agree with a Study Pro. They are great and cheaper than private school.

OP, SO MANY KIDS have issues similar to your child and many have 504s.  There is no way each of these students will have individual coaching within the school day - especially if they’re doing well academicallyz. [/quote]
