Is Oberlin is the college that lost the famous lawsuit to the bakery? If so, they are too woke, period.
The Gibson Bakery incident took place in 2016, almost 10 years ago. You can move on from that now and stick to other posts if Oberlin isn’t the place for your student. You’re not revealing any new info here while trying to be obtuse.
The Gibson Bakery vs Oberlin case was settled in Aug 2022, less than 3 years ago. Before that, the college vowed to fight to the end. For a college to fight 6 years after the incident, and always believe that they are right, they are woke to me. As you said, the incident happens 9 years ago, not everyone still remembers it now; on the other hand, the final chapter is only less than 3 years ago, so the college stays pretty much the same way, whether you like it or not.
Do you think your post is helpful to the OP? None of this is new info. Move along!
