[/quote] Actually, the left is fighting for heath care and other universal benefits for the dirt poor rural communities. Progressive policies haven’t left them behind — it’s that many of them don’t recognize some of the benefits that they’ve long enjoyed as “progressive policies”. Disability checks, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and days off from work (like weekends) are all progressive policies. [/quote]
