That is poor goal.

Reminds of narrowing the ahchievement gap goal by MCPS(horrible goal), goal should have been to elevate all kids. Even if everyone went up by 10% with same achievement gap, it will be a fantastic outcome.[/quote]

No one is supporting segregation. You attent the school where you live. If it's in mix area then MCPS should try to balance FARMS in those schools.

Trying to bus kids all around county to feel good is simply nuts. That's not going to help kids. I grew up in high FARMS area and I would have hated to be bused 40 minutes away. [/quote]
