which neighborhood?
Just in general, buying a home in a few years and am kinda scared. Especially about Glenmont.
What are you scared of? I grew up in Kensington and Wheaton has been on a downward slide since the mid 80s.
We bought in Glenmont about 15 years ago, and our sfh has increased in value by 200k, now in the mid 600s. All the former rentals on our block and down the street have been sold to homeowners and are now in much better shape. White, black, hispanic and mixed people all around. I was a little nervous when buying, but locally things have been getting better and better each year. If only they would do something about the Glenmont shopping center; I go elsewhere to shop.
