Who are mediocre white people? Liberal whites?
White people (and it's 99.9 percent white people) who parrot every GGW proposal without giving it an ounce of critical thought. White people who support ideas that benefit people of extreme privilege at the expense of POC. White people who paternalistically say they know what's best for the city's POC. This is Nadeau's base (and Allen's base).
Wow! You're so so so close to really getting it. You're halfway there. So what are you going to do about it?? Vote Democrat over and over again? Or try the "outlier" which would be voting Republican in DC. DC Democrats don't think you and the other POC will ever actually vote Republican, and they strategize around this. They know all they have to say is "They're racists" and they get enough POC riled up and emotional to get rid and they got their vote. Then read your comment above, and the process repeats.
Except that the national Republican Party IS racist. There’s no need to vote Republican to get rid of Nadeau and Allen. Just support a primary challenger who is not insane. Kent Boese ran against Nadeau last time and would have been a huge improvement. But people have to stop mindlessly checking the box next to “Incumbent”.
