Unfortunately DOGE was not pointless at all. It’s real purpose was to fundamentally damage the federal bureaucracy, destroy agencies hated by the GOP like USAID or the department of education, make others like IRS or EPA unable to work  or become a direct weapon for Trump like DOJ and FBI and DOD. In general, make the federal bureaucracy a mix of terrified and low morale employees run by incompetent trump lackeys willing to do and say anything to please trump. On this DOGE has been a success and i say this as a spouse of a FDA employee who has been effectively unable to do his job in the last three months [/quote]

You are correct. But as a taxapayer, I don't see a success story. Rather, I see even more waste, fraud and abuse. [/quote]
