And you can admit that the message of BLM  was important and valid and just be mad at the corrupt people at the top for their dishonesty. And when the corruption came to light, support faded drastically.  The message was not the problem and it DID make a difference in many cities with police reform and charges for abuse.

Of course now that Trump (who was prosecuted for running a fraudulent charity) is our president, corrupt, abusive police feel they can be as fascist as they want. They feel untouchable. So the progress was, unfortunately , temporary.

BLM is a movement and a slogan and has never been a single, centralized organization. Propublica 990 database has 43 individual organizations with the Black Lives Matter name. A lawsuit was filed against Black Lives Matter Global Foundation but was dismissed. A guy in Ohio created a BLM Atlanta page and used it to bilk donors of money they thought was going to the organization. That's the only reports I was able to find (plus some kind of lawsuit involving a UK BLM group). [/quote]
