the coffee shop that employs people with disabilities seems like a noble enterprise, but BLM was exposed as a con where the founders made off with millions of dollars - that was my point.[/quote]

And you can admit that the message of BLM  was important and valid and just be mad at the corrupt people at the top for their dishonesty. And when the corruption came to light, support faded drastically.  The message was not the problem and it DID make a difference in many cities with police reform and charges for abuse.

Of course now that Trump (who was prosecuted for running a fraudulent charity) is our president, corrupt, abusive police feel they can be as fascist as they want. They feel untouchable. So the progress was, unfortunately , temporary.
