Based on your description, a four year college is probably not worth going to, and I don't think it's worth trying to push SAT prep, when academics are making him miserable. Start looking into the trades, military, employment instead.

That he is socially driven, given the state of things these days, is a huge plus. That he is sucked into video games is not. If they are his currency, start using that to push him to apply for, and apply himself to, a job. Or just break it with a baseball bat.

Note that things may change with growth and maturity; maybe it would be worth going to a four year college later, after a few years of work under his belt and better internal tools for dealing with ADHD. But not now.[/quote]
