It was meant to intimidate the "deep state" and get people aligned with administration priorities. Which its been effective at to a point. In that sense its more "efficient."

This "quietly" stuff is crap.  The Republicans need to start publicly apologizing to the American workforce, and especially to federal employees, who were viciously demonized and accused of being "lazy unelected bureaucrats" - while even now DOGE is admitting they are hard working, efficient and mission focused.[/quote]
