He knows you well enough by now, or should, so he should have known you would enjoy feeling special on your bday and he should have made some effort.   No gifts or cards is totally on him and whatever children you may have.  I would have a very direct conversation with him about what you need to feel loved.  If you already have told him numerous times and he doesn’t care then it’s up to you what to do with that but at the very least you should spend some money if you can afford it to do something special for yourself.  Book a massage or even better a weekend in NYC or something like that’s. Happy birthday![/quote]
