How is this even a concern? Does your child do drugs?
They could get something slipped into their drink pp. It's not just people who "do drugs."
So attempted murder happens a lot everywhere? Because that is pretty messed up.
Aggressive r*pey guys will put whatever they find into a woman's (or men's, if they are into that) drink to incapacitate them and not check too hard to see if the drug has been adulterated, if there was any way they can check in the first place. So yes, attempted r*pe happens a lot every where. You can also accidentally get exposed to fentanyl if your roommate or friend brings some back to the room, or if they overdose and you try to help them. Just because your kid won't do drugs (like I didn't when I was in college) doesn't mean that everyone around them will be.
Fair enough, but it doesn't seem like much of a solution: you're assuming the other roommate is 1. Even there 2. Has narcan and will administer, which is pretty low odds if the kid is so careless with drugs in the first place. And for the rapey guy, you're better off watching your drink because neither rape nor death sounds like a good outcome.
