The Dems have been trying to do this for ages but never could. Why couldn't they? Because the Republicans in either the House or Senate always blocked it.

If Trump wanted a real win, he'd have someone introduce it as a bill to be voted on through proper procedure. The Republicans have full control, so they should be able to get a quick and easy pass. But guess what? He can't do that because it won't pass. And why won't it pass? Because so many GOP members take big pharma money. Shoot, these fools can't even get their own party members on board to pass budgets and resolutions.

Anyway, watch this only lower the drug prices back to where they were before he took office. Because as someone who picks up her elderly parents meds (they are both on Medicare + supplemental insurance), their costs went up like 2 weeks after he took office and rescinded Biden's lower medication prices. One med of my dad's that was $2 for a 30-day supply went up to $18, which doesn't seem like a lot unless you're a senior with a budget. Going from $24/yr to $216/yr is a big cost for the elderly.
