OP- that’s exactly it. He played poorly during tryouts but he is a strong player. But I don’t even know that it’s a spot. I’m assuming it’s - your kid is good enough that we don’t want to say outright now, but ain’t happening this year… (?)[/quote]

OP - they didn’t offer anything, just said he’s waitlisted. Not that there is any deposit required. Is that normal?[/quote]
