The head of SR can turn on the tears at any moment. The girls had an unauthorized skip day which the administrators deemed disrespectful and revoked all senior privileges and traditions. Really makes you question the competence of the administrators. Clearly they do not understand reasonable consequences.
Seriously, why does she cry all of the time? And about this? Come on, do better SR admins. They are leaving in 4 weeks. Get some perspective please.
The seniors informed the school of their proposed senior prank, and the school said NFW. So (the majority of) the seniors retaliated with an "unauthorized" skip day (how much fun could an authorized skip day be?). Then the admin retaliated by revoking pretty much all of the seniors' privileges, but set up an opportunity for the offenders to repent to reinstate at least some of the lost privileges. TBD. Some parents lost their minds. I say stay out of it. The school set up a mechanism for the girls to win back the privileges, let's see what they come up with. Great preparation for college and adulthood. IMO too many SR parents pamper their kids and fight all of their battles for them. Full disclosure - I have a student at SR.
