[/quote] I was going to post that I think some of it is just micro-cultures within the US. For example, people from big cities in the Northeast seem to be louder than most, and maybe Texans who are used to more personal space. And I think always dread being seated next to a large group in a restaurant that is having an alcohol-fueled celebration. [/quote]
