How many current members of Supreme Court are Midd grads or current US senators or famous Doctors went to Midd answer o. By contrast Holy Cross counts Clarence Thomas, Chief Justice Roberts wife, Anton Scalia’s son. Btw, Senator Welch of Vermont Is a HC grad as is Dr Fauci. Sure Midd has some wall st types but Holy Cross has lots of CEO’s including several women- Jet Blue, Under Armor list is long.
Not Midd or HC but St Lawrence can claim Susan Collins (regardless of your politics, she’s a longstanding senator), Viggo Mortenson, Kirk Douglas, and Martha McCallum. Many CEOs and finance leaders, as well as a well-funded endowment. SLU doesn’t get enough love on this board and it’s normally not worth the fight to go up against the Ivy/UVA/Catholic/NESCAC conglomerate here on DCUM; but, since it’s already on OP’s list, it’s worth letting them know it’s a more than viable alternative.
+100 on St Lawrence. It’s a great school.
