You can get dispensations easily.[/quote] Adding, you may be confusing “ within the fourth degree of the collateral line (closer than first cousins” with fourth cousins. I very much doubt many people know their third cousins let alone fourth cousins. Also, at some point, the idea of cousin erodes into neighbor stranger. Otherwise, we couldn’t marry anyone because we are all related at some point.[/quote]
