They may not know exact numbers, but they know who is taking what, how engaged they are in classes, who does what activities, who gets in trouble, etc. [/quote] Not to the point where they care to share with their parents. Happened to my DC - other parents were shocked when she got into three very selective schools. These people need to stop underestimating other people's kids.[/quote]
