Some do not realize that WFH is not the female dream you envision it to be. Working from home often means women doing more work, more responsibilities, more multi-tasking.  You replace the commute time with a FULL time worker, cleaner, cook, mother. Impossible to do everything and be everything all at the same time.

I'd much rather go to an office an have clear boundaries. I worked form home for 6 years, and went back to an office on purpose during Covid, before my kids were even back in school.  I was quickly burnt out on being all things at all times to everyone.   [/quote]

Fake news. I am a woman who went from 100% WFH to 100% in office. I still have all the same responsibilities with 10 hours less per week to do it due to the added commute. So at the end of the day what ends up getting cut is free time with family. [/quote]

DP. You have a different experience. Still not fake news. It’s easier for sure with a remote parent, but that parent can end up taking on more hands on and hands off parenting responsibilities and that can definitely lead to burnout. It is better when both parents have flexibility. [/quote]

That’s not what is happening moron. It’s not like one parent is being recalled while the other is getting more remote days. It’s a net loss of 10 hours for the family. Who gains? I guess CRE, oil and gas, car manufacturers.[/quote]
