You need to go outside and get some sunshine. UNC is not ranked higher, the stats of admitted students are not higher, the experience is not better, etc. I have a kid admitted to UVA and UNC and we've been scrutinizing them for the past 3 weeks and UVA comes out ahead on pretty much every measure except for basketball. I have no pre-determined alliance to UVA. I would actually love it if my kid decided on UNC (we're OOS and it's cheaper!!) but we can't find evidence that supports it as being a better school besides the rants of the UVA haters on DCUM. I've read everything I can, posted multiple times on College Confidential and Reddit, etc. [/quote]
