Well if you are a democrat or independent you should be in fear. People like you are targeting them. Trump is arresting and deporting people with no due process. They do not even ask to see your papers. There are US citizens in El Salvador prisons.

US border police are harassing Canadian crossing the border and Canadians have been warned by the elected officials not to travel to the US. If you are democrat or independent it is risky to leave the country. Specially if you attended a protest. It’s not fear monger just common sense.  [/quote]
