The other piece is that the MOE law has been made more restrictive. It is very very difficult legally for the county to reduce MCPS funding. That doesn't mean there won't be cuts - with growing healthcare and pension costs you need to constantly increase finding above inflation to maintain services - but it does mean the county government's budget will be quite dire[/quote]
