Does she have to enter 50% for a missed test??[/quote] We have been instructed to put "absent" (which auto fills to 50%) for 2 weeks after a missed assignment, and then change it to a 0 if it still hasn't been completed. Is there oversight? Not really. I could get away with putting it as a 0 after 1 week or never putting in the 50. Generally I input grades a week after a test is taken, so either you get a grade or a 0 at that point. It's more work for me to remember to go back and change it, and it results in kids panicking at the end of the quarter when i put blank tests in as 0s, so it's easier to immediately put in the low grade and then change it when they take it.[/quote]
