Practice Preparation grades are worth 10% , All Task grades are worth 90%

PP are for completion 
AT are for accuracy

That means ALL PP points added together make 10 % and ALL AT points added together are worth 90%.

Homework is maximum 10%, therefore everything else is 90%. In courses with a district-wide assessment, the assessment is 10% and everything else is 80%.

This has been the grading policy and implemented system-wide for 5 years. There has been mandatory language for all HS Syllabi to include. Unless you are new to MS, this shouldn't be a surprise by now.[/quote]

The acronyms PP and AT aren't in that document you linked to.    Maybe there's a lot of MCPS teachers on this thread or central office folk who find this grade jargon easy to decipher, but many of us who aren't on the MCPS payroll aren't going to know what you know.[/quote]
