I’m a librarian and this is true for me too. I read the physical book 90% of the time but if I don’t have it and I need to read it, I put it on the screen. I don’t think this is as dramatic an issue as you think it is.

Also, unfortunately I will point out that there are many children out there who will absolutely not listen or pay any attention to a teacher, but will listen to and respect a video. It’s painful. [b]We do what we have to do.[/b][/quote]

omg, this is insane and suggests we should just defund the schools if you are just going to show videos when kids don't pay attention. you blame parents, but have giant screens in classrooms from day 1 of kindergarten and zero consequences for bad behavior. gmafb.[/quote]
