This just invites more questions! Who was the friend? Who gave her the 7 bags? Were they 7 50-lb bags, and you got one of them? What made her think that you would want the 50 lbs? (I think I'm the first person in my friend group whom people would think of if they had too many carrots too.)[/quote]

I disagree, a 50 pound bag of carrots is like what someone buys for a horse, not for human consumption! The largest bag you can buy at Costco is 5 pounds. I can’t imagine receiving 50 pounds of carrots and trying to figure out what I can cook with them and instead of not donating them to people in need.[/quote]

The 50 lb. bag is what they sell at the feed supply place where I grew up (area with a bunch of horse farms, each of which has a lot of horses).[/quote]
