The combination that would matter would be ECNL and NWSL.  There is little a men's/boy's league can do for girl's/women's soccer.  GA is not in a position to help NWSL at all hence why they have a very loose agreement with MLSN.  The deal would be for ecnl to add a pro pathway for its players with direct tie ins between the clubs.

Because MLSN is not a competitor of ECNL.  GA and MLSN have signed a general loose agreement to do some stuff that is minor and think about doing other stuff.  MLSN and GA are not partners; not in bed together.  They are on a first date that could go anywhere.  NWSL has no side or stake in any of this at the moment.  They have no alliance.  If anything they favor ECNL because that is where there young players come from.[/quote]
