I just circle the surcharge and don't leave more on top of that. That's how it should work. [/quote] I do the same I always look for service charge , if 3 % I leave 17 % tip , if 20 then I leave 0 . I will not be covering service charge and tip. I think it’s not right when the receipt has extra line additional tip. Some people might miss that service charge already been charged and only see this “ additional “ tip line .Assuming that is the tip line . If you have service charge 20 automatically charged please eliminate that additional tip line.[/quote]
