I think the story line was good enough -- they just needed to put someone else in the lead role, or make RZ grow up a bit and have more marbles in her head.

Honestly, at 25 min. in, I didn't think I could take anymore.  But, I suffered through it while looking at my phone, and then the last half hour wasn't too bad.  They didn't give enough explanation of how the teacher overcame his extremely overbearing personality.

Also, not believable that a 6 yr old child who has no memory of even having a father (b/c he died when she was 2), would go around asking every man if he is going to be her father.  She wouldn't even care about having a father b/c she never knew having a father at the age of 2.

On the whole, I just can't relate to a character like BJ who is squinty and fake accenting, and still confused about pretty much everything at the age of 50-something.    It's no longer "cute" or "endearing" -- it's just tiring.[/quote]
