Well there was a coordinated public health response that worked.  Response still on going....but not on most people's radars because it hasn't gotten out of control so doesn't make the news[/quote]

+1 and it was also the less concerning clads of mpox and transmitted primarily via contact rather than respiratory/airborne/droplet so....

Now if we end up with human to human transmission of avian influenza in the middle of a flu season that is already quite awful, that would be another story. [/quote]
